About Us Meeting Our Patient's Needs

Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) serves people of all languages, cultures, and backgrounds.  To make sure we provide care that is respectful and easy to understand, NEVHC strives to accommodate our patients’ specific needs.

Services are provided to patients in their preferred language.  Many employees are bilingual in English and Spanish and are able to provide services to patients in both of these languages.  For all other languages, employees are able to obtain a bilingual staff member or a qualified interpreter (at no cost to the patient).

In addition to making healthcare understandable with language access, NEVHC works to provide care that is culturally appropriate.  Our employees aim to provide care that is sensitive to each patient’s culture, including health beliefs and practices.

NEVHC will also make all reasonable efforts to accommodate patients with special needs. If a patient has any questions about our services and our ability to accommodate his/her special situation, patients should call the health center closest to them and discuss with the Business Office.
