Welcome to the Homeless Health Care Project (HHCP). The NEVHC HHCP is part of the Cooperative Health Care for the Homeless Network serving the health care needs of the homeless in Los Angeles County.

HHCP provides comprehensive medical and case management services for the homeless population of the San Fernando Valley. Our project is dedicated to helping people help themselves. Our staff are skilled professionals who are sensitive to the special needs of our clients.


 
 
 


Offices for the Homeless Health Care Project are located at 7843 Lankershim Blvd. at the Trudy and Norman Louis Valley Shelter in the city of North Hollywood. Services are also provided at Northeast Valley Health Corporation's four primary care health centers.

All services are provided in confidential and personal setting and include:

 • Case Management
 • Treatment of Acute and Chronic illness
 • Dental
 • Well Child Examinations
 • Immunizations
 • Physical Examinations
 • Laboratory
 • Womens' Health
 • X-ray

Referral Services:

 • Emergency Shelters
 • Mental Health Services
 • Social Services Agencies
 • WIC Program

Our Mobile Medical Unit also provides services at the outreach sites listed below.
All of our services are provided in a friendly, caring and private environment.
All homeless persons are eligible for services. Fees are based on a sliding fee scale (ability to pay) and the federally established poverty level.

 • United Methodist Church, North Hills
 • The Cornerstone, Van Nuys
 • People in Progress, Sun Valley

all service are available in English, Spanish, and other languages upon request. We provide all services on a sliding scale or free to financially qualified clients. We all so accept Medi-Cal, Medicare and most private insurance. You are welcome to take a tour of our facilities.
