prog-and-svc_homeless-healthHomelessness can happen for a variety of reasons. It can happen to someone who just lost their job or a family forced to leave their home. It could be someone struggling with mental illness or addiction. Whatever the reason, Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) can help.

NEVHC’s Homeless Health Care Program (HHCP) is part of the Cooperative Health Care for the Homeless Network, serving the health care needs of the homeless in Los Angeles County. We are dedicated to helping people help themselves.






All services are provided in a confidential and personal setting. Some of the services include:

  • Treatment of Acute and Chronic illness
  • Physical Examinations
  • Laboratory Services
  • Women's Health Services
  • Referrals to other services
  • Behavioral Health
  • Dental Care
  • X-ray

 

Mobile Medical Unit

prog-and-svc_homeless-health_mobile-unitOur Mobile Medical Unit also provides services at the outreach sites listed below. We provide all services on a sliding scale or free to financially qualified clients. We also accept Medi-Cal, Medicare and most private insurance.

Outreach Sites:

  • Lutheran Social Services, 6425 Tyrone Avenue, Van Nuys
  • San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health - The Cornerstone, 14660 Oxnard Street, Van Nuys
  • People in Progress, 8140 Sunland Boulevard, Sun Valley
  • Santa Clarita Valley Winter Shelter- Santa Clarita Community Development Corporation
