prog-and-svc_hiv_testing_and_treatmentThirty years after the AIDS virus was discovered, the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS reports that 33.4 million people worldwide are living with the disease. In fact, in the United States, someone is infected with HIV every nine and a half minutes.

Northeast Valley Health Corporation (NEVHC) is assisting in the fight against the spread of HIV/AIDS. Currently servicing more than 700 patients, NEVHC provides over 2,000 HIV tests each year. Fifty-four percent of those entering care are diagnosed with reportable AIDS.

Early medical care and treatment is important. We have designed our services to help individuals manage their HIV disease with the least stress to them and their loved ones.



All services are provided in a confidential and personal setting and include:

  • Out-patient HIV treatment
  • Coordination of care, including the latest drug therapies, treatments and referrals to clinical trials
  • AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP)
  • Services for transgendered persons
  • Nutritional review and consultation
  • Dental care
  • Behavioral health care including:
    • Behavioral health counseling
    • Social services
    • Psychiatry
  • Community resources & referrals (when requested)
  • Transportation assistance
  • HIV counseling and testing


We provide all services on a sliding fee scale to financially qualified clients. We also accept Medi-Cal, Medicare and most private insurances. Our services are supported by grants and contracts from the Ryan White HIV/AIDS program.
