Mend
MEND, the largest poverty agency in the San Fernando Valley, provides emergency food, clothing, medical, vision and dental care, job skills training and job placement assistance, English as a Second Language classes, youth activities and a Christmas program. Clients must live in the MEND service area, which is: Pacoima, Arleta, Sylmar, Lake View Terrace, San Fernando, North Hills and Mission Hills.
National Association of Community Health Centers
NACHC works with a network of state health center and primary care organizations to serve health centers in ways, such as: providing research-based advocacy for health centers and their clients and educating the public about the mission and value of health centers.
